A lightweight contest is added to the UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker event as Luis Pena will face Khama Worthy.

Pena is coming off a needed victory over Steve Garcia at UFC Fight Night 169. Even though his loss to Matt Frevola halted his momentum, the lightweight has managed to win three out of last four fights, also beating Steven Peterson (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 148) and Matt Wiman (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 154). Pena’s professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 2 losses.

Worthy made a successful debut at UFC 241 when he beat Devonte Smith via TKO. The lightweight is currently on a six-fight winning streak, dropping top tier fighters such as Tim Cho and Michael Roberts in Pinnacle Fighting Championships. Worthy has also competed in 247 Fighting Championships, Made Men Promotions, and King of the Cage. His professional record is 15 wins and 6 losses.

UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker takes place on Saturday, June 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with the two lightweights headlining. The placement of the Pena/Worthy fight is currently unknown.
