A new lightweight is set for UFC Fight Night Norfolk as Luis Pena will fight Alex Munoz at the special event.

Pena is looking to regain momentum after losing to Matt Frevola at UFC Tampa back in October. Prior to the unanimous decision loss, the Ultimate Fighter 27 competitor was on a two-fight winning streak, besting Steven Peterson and Matt Wiman. Pena’s professional record stands at 7 wins and 2 losses.

Alex Munoz is making his UFC debut here, as the lightweight fighter comes from Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 14, defeating Nick Newell by unanimous decision. Prior to the UFC, the Dallas native competed for Trinity Sport Combat, Xtreme Combat, and Evolution of Fighters. Munoz’s professional record stands at 5 wins and no losses.

UFC Fight Night Norfolk takes place on Saturday, February 29 from the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia with Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo headlining.
