A new middleweight bout has been confirmed as Makhmud Murdov will make his return against Karl Roberson.

Muradov is in the midst of a 13-fight winning streak and has yet to lose under the UFC banner. The middleweight defeated Alessio Di Chirico and Trevor Smith and is hoping to add a third consecutive UFC win. The 30-year-old hasn’t lost a fight since December 2016. Muradov’s professional record stands at 24 wins and 6 losses.

Roberson enters the contest with some momentum as well, as the middleweight is currently on a two-fight winning streak. The New Jersey native has won three out of his last five fights, besting Roman Kopylov, Wellington Turman, and Jack Marshman. Roberson’s professional record currently stands at 9 wins and 2 losses.

UFC 249 takes place on Saturday, April 18 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson headlining.
