Agapova made a strong impression in her debut against Hannah Cifers as the flyweight got a submission win over the veteran at UFC on ESPN 10. Agapova is currently in the midst of a three-fight winning streak, also beating Alexa Conners (via submission at Invicta FC: Phoenix Series 2) and Marilia Santos (via TKO at Invicta FC 37). The 23-year-old has also fought in Fight Nights Global and Brave Combat Federation. Her professional record currently stands at 9 wins and 1 loss.
Dobson is hoping to get her first win in three years as the flyweight is currently in the midst of a three-fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Lauren Mueller (via unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 29), Sabina Mazo (via unanimous decision at UFC 241) and Priscila Cachoeira (via KO at UFC on ESPN + 26). Dobson’s professional record currently stands at 3 wins and 4 losses.
The recently announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, August 22 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. The placement of the flyweight bout is currently unknown.
