A lightweight contest has been confirmed for UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeria as Michael Johnson is set to batte Thiago Moises.

Despite getting strong victories over Andre Fili (via split decision at UFC Fight Night 135) and Artem Lobov (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 138), Johnson slid back into a two-fight losing streak by being beating at the hands of Josh Emmett (via KO at UFC on ESPN 2) and Stevie Ray (via majority decision at UFC Fight Night 162). Thiago Moises is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Damir Ismagulov at UFC Fight Night 157.
