Mickey Gall is looking to bounce back after his loss to Mike Perry.
Going into his fight against the welterweight last Saturday, many had pegged Gall as the favorite in his match-up against the veteran, due to the fact that Perry was only going to have his girlfriend by his side during his fight.
However, the match-up came and Perry surprisingly held his end on the striking and grappling department against Gall. While Gall had some success early on in the fight, Perry’s experience got the better of the 28-year-old.
Gall has now spoken since the devastating defeat last weekend and the welterweight isn’t making any excuses for his loss against Perry, promising to grow as a fighter following his bout last Saturday:
Gall has a mixed record when it comes to his fights within the UFC. The New Jersey native saw early success in his bout against CM Punk (via submission at UFC 203) and Sage Northcutt (via submission at UFC on Fox 22); however, his loss to Randy Brown at UFC 217 has seen him slip a bit since then. Overall, Gall's professional record currently stands at 6 wins and 3 losses.
