A replacement has officially been confirmed for Miguel Baeza at UFC Vegas 11 as the welterweight will take on Jeremiah Wells at the upcoming fight night show. Baeza was originally primed to fight Mickey Gall on Saturday; however, Gall was forced to pull out of the bout due to injury.
Baeza is coming in strong with a nine-fight winning streak, with his latest victory coming over Matt Brown at UFC on ESPN 8. The welterweight remains undefeated in the UFC as he also beat Hector Aldana (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 161). Baeza’s professional record stands at 9 wins and no losses.
Wells will be making his UFC debut here on the strength of a two-fight winning streak thanks to his time in Cage Fury Fighting Championships. The 33-year-old has also competed in Classic Entertainment and Sports and PA Cage Fight. Wells’ professional record stands at 8 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no contest.
