A featherweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till card as Mike Grundy will face Movsar Evloev.
Grundy is coming off his successful debut against Nad Narimani at UFC Fight Night 147. Before the featherweight made his transition over to the UFC in 2019, Grundy dominated in ICE Fighting Championships, Aspera FC, and BAMMA, with the 33-year-old capturing the Aspera FC Featherweight Championship. Grundy is currently in the midst of a nine-fight winning streak and hasn’t lost a bout in five years. His professional record currently stands at 12 wins and 1 loss.
Evloev has maintained his undefeated record since jumping over to the UFC in 2019, with the featherweight dropping Seung Woo Choi (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 149) and Enrique Barzola (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 162). Evloev mainly competed in M-1 Challenge and managed to win the bantamweight title before signing with the UFC. His professional record currently stands at 12 wins and 0 losses.
UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till takes place on Saturday, July 25 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with the two middleweights headlining. The placement of the featherweight bout is unknown at this time.
