COVID-19 strikes again.

This time, Mounir Lazzez has been pulled from his fight against David Zawada at UFC Fight Island 6 due to testing positive for the coronavirus. MMA Junkie first confirmed the news. Zawada is expected to remain on the card as officials are searching for a new opponent, though there’s no word on who the potential replacement could be.

Lazzez was looking to extend his three-fight winning streak following his wins over Abdul Razak Alhassan (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 13), Sasha Palatnikov (via TKO at ADW - UAE Warriors 8) and Arber Murati (via TKO at Probellum MMA).
