Which middleweight will lose their first fight in years?

The main event will see a middleweight clash between Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho. Imavov hasn’t lost a fight in three years. The 30-year-old originally stumbled when he failed to get a win in his light heavyweight debut against Sean Strickland, but that all changed once Imavov got an impressive win over Roman Dolidze.

The UFC fighter continued winning over Jared Cannonier (by TKO at UFC on ESPN: Cannonier vs. Imavov), Brendan Allen (by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Saint Denis), and former UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya (by TKO at UFC Fight Night: Adesanya vs. Imavov). Following his huge win over Adesanya, Imavov’s rankings stood at number two within the division. Imavov’s professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 4 losses.

On the other hand, Caio Borralho hasn’t lost a fight in ten years. Though he hasn’t beaten anyone on the level of Israel Adesanya, the middleweight is currently undefeated within the UFC. Borralho is currently on a 16-fight winning streak, with his biggest victory coming over Jared Cannonier at UFC on ESPN: Cannonier vs. Borralho. Should Borralho beat Imavov, it will be the biggest win of his career. His current rankings within the division is at number seven. Borralho’s professional record stands at 17 wins and 1 loss.
