Israel Adesanya’s losing streak continues.
The former UFC Middleweight Champion came into his latest bout on a two-fight losing skid; still, many felt that this would be the beginning of Adesanya’s comeback. Unfortunately, Nassourdine Imavov shattered those dreams with a knockout in the second round.
Imavov had the better gameplay throughout the match-up, so the KO was just the icing on the cake for him. However, Israel did showcase at certain points in the first round why he was undefeated for a long period of time. Israel Adesanya now slips into 24 wins and 5 losses, whereas is riding a four fight winning streak. His record currently stands at 16 wins and 4 losses.
Another shocker was Michael Page, who squared up against the undefeated Shara Magomedov and outclassed the middleweight despite moving up a class. This was a great fight, but Page broke Magomedov’s undefeated streak, causing him to fall to 15 wins and 1 loss. Michael Page carries a nice momentum with a record of 23 wins and 3 losses.
