Rumors have been swirling for weeks that Nate Diaz and Tyron Woodley would be possibly fighting at UFC 219. Woodley did an interview several weeks back stating that while he hasn't heard an answer in regards to a fight with Diaz, he'll continue training until someone tells him no.

Well, Dana White addressed the topic at a media gathering on Tuesday in Las Vegas. The UFC president pretty much shot down the rumors that Woodley and Diaz would be fighting at UFC 219, saying that the bout makes no sense from a divisional perspective and that "Nate Diaz has turned down a fight with everybody on the roster."

Woodley quickly responded from White's comments, questioning why Diaz would give a $15 million purse request if there was no fight?

However, Diaz seemingly responded on instagram on Thursday. The video shows a portion of White's comments and then another video of Diaz giving the UFC president the infamous Stockton Slap. Diaz commented with "shutup b**ch, your both thirsty...and why is u lying."

Diaz's camp have made it clear that the lightweight fighter would only return for an eight figure payday.

Shutup bitch. Your both thirsty .... And why is u lying 😎
