Both Ovince Saint Preux and Jamahal Hill will step into the octagon for third time in 2020 as the light heavyweights are expected to collide in December.
Preux is coming off a win over Alonzo Menifield at UFC Fight Night 176. The light heavyweight has suffered more losses than wins in his last five fights, with his only other victory being against Tyson Pedro at UFC Fight Night 132. Preux’s professional record currently stands at 25 wins and 14 losses.
Hill was successful in his UFC debut back at UFC Fight Night 166 as he defeated Darko Stosic, but the light heavyweight’s bout against Klidson Abreu was overturned. Prior to his stint on Dana White’s Contender Series - in which he picked up a victory over Alexander Poppeck by second round TKO - the 29-year-old has competed in Lights Out Championship and Knockout Promotions. Hill’s professional record currently stands at 7 wins, no losses, and 1 no contest.
The UFC Fight Night event on Dec. 5 will be headlined with a middleweight bout between Jack Hermansson and Darren Till. The placement of the light heavyweight fight is currently unknown.
