A heavyweight bout has been rescheduled for UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till on July 25 in Abu Dhabi as Paul Craig and Gadzhimurad Antigulov will clash at the “Fight Island” show.
Despite a draw against former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Maurício Rua at UFC Fight Night 164, Craig is entering the contest with some momentum as the 32-year-old has a submission victory over Vinicius Moreira at UFC Fight Night 159. The light heavyweight’s record in his last five fights has been a mixed bag as Craig only has one other win under his belt, which is against Kennedy Nzechukwu at UFC on ESPN 2. Overall, Craig’s professional record currently stands at 12 wins, 4 losses, and 1 no contest.
Antigulov is in desperate need of a win as the heavyweight has dropped bouts to Ion Cuțelaba (via TKO at UFC on Fox 30) and Michał Oleksiejczuk (via KO at UFC Fight Night 149). Still, Antigulov has a solid record as the UFC star came into the promotion hot with a 12-fight winning streak, and managed to get victories over Marcos Rogério de Lima and Joachim Christensen. Antigilov’s professional record currently stands at 20 wins and 6 losses.
