Paulo Costa continues to play mind games with Israel Adesanya.

The Brazilian will finally get the opportunity to challenge for the UFC Middleweight title on September 27 and Costa has not been afraid to fire shots at Adesanya. Throughout the build thus far, Costa has continuously stated how the 185-pound champion likes to run in his fights (Transcript courtesy of MMA Junkie):

“I really think he has good skills,” Costa said of Adesanya. “His best skill is running away – avoid the fight. He’s very good at that – very good when he wants to do that. I tried to ask him why he just stood when he faced Romero. The only thing more disturbing than his hair was his fight against Romero.”

The challenger has now taken it one step further with a mock video over how his fight with Israel Adesanya will go. Not surprisingly, Costa highlights what he feels is Adesanya’s best skill, which is running once the bell rings for the championship bout.

The video is a fun, lighthearted poke at the current UFC Middleweight Champion, though I’m sure Adesanya is counting down the days until he can get his hands on Paulo Costa. Check out the hilarious mock video below:
