Renato Moicano is officially off the UFC Fight Island 6 card.
The lightweight was set to square off against Magomed Mustafaev on Saturday, October 17; however, Moicano has pulled out of the bout for unknown reasons. It’s expected for Mustafaev to remain on the card, though there’s no word on who the lightweight could potentially face.
Moicano was looking to build up more momentum following his submission win over Damir Hadžović at UFC Fight Night 170. On the other hand, Mustafaev hopes to get back into the win column following his loss to Brad Riddell at UFC Fight Night 168. The lightweight has won three out of his last five fights, with Mustafaev’s overall record standing at 15 wins and 3 losses.
