A new bantamweight fight is set for Washington D.C., as Rob Font will make his return to the octagon to take on Ricky Simon.
This will be Font’s first fight since December 2018, which saw the Massachusetts native get a unanimous decision win over former UFC fighter Sergio Pettis. The 32-year-old has won three bouts out of his last five, with victories over Thomas Almeida and Douglas Silva de Andrade. Font’s professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 4 losses.
Ricky Simon is looking to bounce back from his loss against Urijah Faber at UFC Sacramento, as the UFC Hall of Famer snapped a big eight fight winning streak that Simon had going in. The Washington native’s mixed marital arts record currently stands at 15 wins and 2 losses.
