A huge middleweight bout will headline UFC Fight Night Dublin as former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker will take on Darren Till.
Whittaker will be stepping into the octagon for the first time since dropping the UFC Middleweight title to Israel Adesanya at UFC 243. Prior to his devastating loss, the New Zealand native was on a strong nine-fight winning streak, besting top tier middleweights such as Yoel Romero, Uriah Hall, and Brad Tavares. Whittaker’s professional record currently stands at 20 wins and 5 losses.
Till is coming off a successful middleweight debut against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244. Prior to the big victory, the England native was on a two-fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Jorge Masvidal and Tyron Woodley. Despite those setbacks, Till has won four out of his last six fights. Till’s professional record currently stands at 18 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no contest.
UFC Fight Night Dublin takes place on Saturday, August 15 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with Robert Whittaker and Darren Till headlining.
