Ryan Hall is out of this weekend’s fight night show.

Originally, the featherweight was set to take on Ricardo Lamas at the upcoming event in Las Vegas; however, Hall has been forced to withdraw due to injury. Lamas will still remain on this weekend’s card as he’ll fight newcomer Bill Algeo.

Algeo is an alumni of Dana White's Contender Series, though the featherweight would end up losing his bout to Brendan Loughnane back in Season 3. Despite the crushing defeat, Algeo has a solid record thanks to his time in Ring of Combat and Cage Fury Fighting Championships. The 31-year-old has managed to win five out of his last six bouts, with three coming by way of submission or knockout. Algeo enters the contest with a professional record of 13 wins and 4 losses.

UFC Vegas 8 will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Anthony Smith and Aleksander Rakic. Check out the advertised line-up for this Saturday’s show:
