Sara McMann is officially off UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker.

It was revealed over the weekend that her match-up against Aspen Ladd was scrapped due to the bantamweight suffering a torn ACL and MCL in training. According to Dave Hirschbein (Ladd’s manager), The 25-year-old is expected to find out whether she’ll need surgery or not today.

Mcmann was expected to remain on the June 27 card; however, Damon Martin of MMA Fighting has revealed that the 39-year-old will no longer compete at the show:

The news has yet to be confirmed by McMann and UFC officials themselves; however, with less than a week’s notice then it’s not exactly a surprise that another fighter wasn't able to step up and replace Ladd. At the moment, there’s no word on when McMann could make her return to the octagon.

UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker takes place on Saturday, June 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the two lightweights headlining. Viviane Araujo vs. Jennifer Maia and Brendan Allen vs. Kyle Daukaus are also some of the featured bouts on the card.
