A Flyweight bout is confirmed for UFC 245, as Sergio Pettis will fight Kai Kara France at the event, according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN.

Pettis is coming off a unanimous decision win over Tyson Nam at UFC Fight Night Mexico City. Before his return to the flyweight division at the fight night event, he diverted to the bantamweight division for one fight; however, Pettis would suffer his second straight defeat to Rob Font. The Wisconsin native currently has a record of 18 wins and 5 losses.

France is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, as the flyweight has bested Elias Garcia, Raulian Paiva and Mark De La Rosa since his debut back in December 2018. The New Zealand native’s professional record stands at 20 wins, 7 losses, and 1 no contest.

UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, December 14 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Max Holloway taking on Alexander Volkanovski for the Featherweight title, and Amanda Nunes defending the Women’s Bantamweight title against Germaine de Randamie.
