Shamil Gamzatov has been pulled from UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar.

The light heavyweight was originally set to fight Ovince St. Preux on August 22; however, the match-up between the two fighters has been scrapped. The reasoning behind Gamzatov’s departure is currently undisclosed. Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA first reported the news.

In terms of St. Preux, the light heavyweight will remain on the card as Gamzatov’s replacement is Alonzo Menifield. The 32-year-old has managed to beat Vinicius Moreira (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 143) and Paul Craig (via KO at UFC on ESPN 3); however, the light heavyweight’s nine-fight winning streak was snapped when he was dropped by Devin Clark at UFC 250. Menifield’s professional record currently stands at 9 wins and 1 loss.
