Another bantamweight match-up is set for UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris as Son Yadong will take on Marlon Vera.

While Yadong had a no contest ruling against Cody Stamann at UFC on ESPN 7, the 22-year-old remains undefeated within the UFC thus far. Since his debut with the promotion in 2017, Yadong has defeated Bharat Khandare (via submission at UFC Fight Night 122), Felipe Arantes (via knockout at UFC Fight Night 132), Vince Morales (via unanimous decision UFC Fight Night 141), and Alejandro Pérez (via knockout at UFC 239). The China native hasn’t lost a fight since 2016. Yadong’s professional record currently stands at 15 wins, 4 losses, and 1 no contest.

Vera is currently in the midst of a five-fight winning streak, with his latest victory coming over Andre Ewell at UFC Fight Night 161. His other four wins were against Wuliji Buren (via knockout at UFC 227), Guido Cannetti (via submission at UFC Fight Night 140), Frankie Saenz (via knockout at UFC Fight Night 148), and Nohelin Hernandez (via submission at UFC 239). Vera’s professional record currently stands at 15 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest.

UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris takes place on Saturday, May 16 from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida with Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris headlining.
