A new women’s flyweight bout has been confirmed for the upcoming UFC Fight Night card on Dec. 5 as Taila Santos will take on Maryna Moroz.

After Santos’ crushing defeat to Mara Romero Borella at UFC Fight Night 144, the flyweight bounced back with a win over Molly McCann at UFC on ESPN 13. The Brazilian is an alumni of Dana White’s Contender Series and came into the promotion on a strong 15-fight winning streak before losing her UFC debut. Santos’ professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 1 loss.

Moroz is currently in the midst a two-fight winning streak by dropping Sabina Mazo (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 2) and Mayra Bueno Silva (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 170). Overall, the flyweight has won three out of her last five fights, also beating Danielle Taylor (via split decision at UFC Fight Night 92). Moroz’s professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 3 losses

The UFC Fight Night card will take place on Saturday, December 5 with Jack Hermansson and Darren Till headlining. The placement of the flyweight bout is currently unknown.
