Another fighter is taken out with an injury as Frankie Edgar is now forced to step down, which is a shame. Edgar was on a hot streak with 11 consecutive wins, beating fighters such as Jose Aldo, Anthony Pettis, Ricardo Lamas, Cub Swanson, Jeremy Stephens, and Charles Oliveira. Now, the scheduled title fight between him and featherweight champion Max Holloway is scrapped. The injury is undisclosed.

Acording to reports, While the injury was enough to take Edgar out of the fight, it seems he doesn't require surgery and will be ready to fight again in 12 weeks. There's no word yet on if there will be a replacement opponent for Max Holloway on December 2, but the fighter is hopeful he will be able to fight in the octagon at 218.
However, it seems like former featherweight champion Jose Aldo would like to step up and take down the current champ.
We'll keep you updated should a replacement fight be announced.
