The main card for UFC 320 has been made official.
The MMA world is still reeling from the shocking UFC 319 main event where Driscus du Plessis was completely dominated by Khamzat Chimaev. But the UFC must move on and UFC 320 looks like a very promising card.
It’s already been confirmed that two titles will be on the line. Alex Pereira will get a chance to win back the UFC Light Heavyweight title as he’ll main event the show against Magomed Ankalaev. These two previously met at UFC 313 and Pereira walked in as champion.
The co-main event remains the UFC Bantamweight Championship fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Cory Sandhagen. This is Merab’s third title defense in 2025 as he’s coming off a dominant win over Sean O’Malley at UFC 316 in June. Davlishivili hasn’t lost a fight in seven years. He’s currently in the midst of a 13-fight winning streak, with some of those victories coming against José Aldo, Petr Yan, and Henry Cejudo.
The new matches that flesh out the main event are Abus Magomedov vs. Joe Pyser and Aleksandar Rakic vs. Azamat Murzakanov.
Abus is currently on the best streak of his UFC career. The middleweight has won his past three fights, beating Warlley Alves, Brunno Ferreira, and Michel Pereira in impressive fashion. But Joe Pyser is coming in hot as well. His stunning knockout on Marc-André Barriault led to a strong performance against UFC vet Kelvin Gastelum.
On the other hand, Aleksandar Rakic is in search of his first win since 2021. He’s coming off three losses including a bout against current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Ankalaev. However, him winning will be easier said than done as he’s stepping into the octagon against a man who’s currently undefeated. Ever since Azamat Murzakanov came into the UFC thanks to Dana White’s Contender Series, he scored five wins. Four of those wins came via knockouts. His current record is 15 wins and 0 losses record.
