The Medical Suspension for UFC 252 have been released.
MMA Junkie has managed to obtain the full list of medical suspensions from the latest pay-per-view and the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion has a medical suspension until Sept. 30. While his opponent, Daniel Cormier, has confirmed his retirement from the sport, the former 235-pound champ won’t be able to compete until February 2021 unless he gets clearance by an ophthalmologist before then.
From the co-main event, Marlon Vera is free to continue training and fighting as the veteran has no medical suspension. On the other hand, Sean O’Malley must have an orthopedic doctor's clearance on his right ankle or he'll be unable to fight until 2/12/21.
In addition to Daniel Comier and Sean O’Malley, TJ Brown won’t be able to fight until February unless he has his left orbital fracture cleared by an ophthalmologist.
