Could we see a future Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Thiago Santos and Dominick Reyes?

At the moment, nothing has indicated that the UFC will punish Jon Jones for his latest brush with the law. Since making his return to the octagon back in 2018, everything appeared to be going well for the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion; however, the New York native has put the promotion in a tough spot once again.

Jones has been previously stripped of the Light heavyweight title three times, which dates back to early 2015 after a hit-and-run incident to his suspension in 2017. Will the UFC take action and do the same here?

Should the title be taken off the 32-year-old, Thiago Santos suggested that him and Dominick Reyes fight for the vacant belt to determine a new champion:

While Reyes and Santos lost to Jones, both fighters gave the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion an encounter that he’ll never forget. In fact, many fans and analysts believe that Santos and Reyes won their respective bouts and should be the rightful champion.

At this time, UFC has stated that they will closely monitor the situation. Do you think Thiago Santos and Dominick Reyes deserve another opportunity at the UFC Light Heavyweight title if it becomes vacant?
