Two more fights have been confirmed for UFC 320.
In July, it was confirmed that two big title fights will take place at UFC 320: Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship and Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen for the UFC Bantamweight Championship.
Now two more fights have been added to the stacked pay-per-view card. On Tuesday, the UFC confirmed that Macy Chiasson will take on Yana Santos in a women’s bantamweight bout. Chiasson is fresh off of a loss to Kelten Vieira back in May. The 34-year-old has seen mixed results in her last six fights as Chiasson has won three of them. Chiasson’s professional record is currently at 10 wins and 4 losses.
On the other hand, Santos is coming off a huge victory over former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate. The 35-year-old is currently in the midst of a two-fight winning streak; though that wasn’t the case two years ago as Santos’ was in danger of being released due to her three fight skid that started with her loss to Irene Aldana at UFC 264. Santos’ professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 8 losses.
That wasn’t the only fight confirmed. A women’s flyweight bout between Veronica Hardy and Brogan Walker is set for the upcoming pay-per-view. Veronica is hoping to bounce back from her unanimous decision loss to Eduarda Moura at UFC 309. That loss shattered an impressive three fight winning streak that had Veronica moving up the rankings very quickly. Veronica’s professional record stands at 9 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw.
Walker is currently in the midst of a two-fight skid. The flyweight hasn’t won a bout since 2021, with the 37-year-old only winning one fight in her last five. Thus far, Brogan has yet to secure a win in the UFC despite the promise she showed in the Ultimate Fighter. Walker’s professional record stands at 7 wins and 4 losses.
