Two big title fights will headline the November card.
In the main event, Deiveson Figueiredo will defend the UFC Flyweight title against Alex Perez. Since his loss to Jussier Formiga in 2019, the Brazilian has upped his game and cemented his status at the top by beating Joseph Benavidez.
On the other hand, Perez has been pulling off incredible performances in his last several fights and the flyweight hopes to win the 125-pound belt on his first try. Going in, Perez’s record is a strong 24 wins and 5 losses.
In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will defend the UFC Women’s Flyweight title against Jennifer Maia. Since her loss to Amanda Nunes, the 32-year-old has been a force in the flyweight division by beating Joanna Jędrzejczyk, Jessica Eye, Liz Carmouche, and Katlyn Chookagian.
Maia is no slouch herself as she’s coming off a huge win over former contender Joanne Calderwood at UFC Fight Night 173. The 32-year-old is a former Invicta FC Flyweight Champion, so Jennifer Maia is no stranger to winning titles.
Expect Tim Means, Katlyn Chookagian, Mauricio Rua, Brandon Moreno, Joaquin Buckley, Ariane Lipski, and Daniel Rodriguez in action. Check out the full line-up for UFC 255:
