The fight is on! At tomorrow's UFC 229 event, former champion Conor McGregor will finally fight current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in a match that fans have been eagerly awaiting to see for years. Both fighters made weight earlier today so there will be no need for concessions on either side; this will be for the lightweight title which McGregor was initially stripped of.

In front of a rambunctious crowd, both fighters took to the scales and then offered some brief comments on the upcoming fight. They also engaged in the iconic stare down which, of course, broke down into chaos - much to the crowd's delight.

"Tomorrow night, I'm gonna smash your boy, guys. I'm gonna smash your boy," Khabib, who weighed in at 155 pounds exactly, told the crowd, which was very much in favor of McGregor. He also thanked them, stating that this fight would never have happened if it weren't for them.

McGregor later weighed in at 154.5 pounds and let out his signature celebratory yell. "It's good to be back, UFC fans," McGregor told the crowd. "It's good to be back!"

You can watch all of the weigh-ins for UFC 229 in the video below. Specifically, the Khabib and McGregor moments are around the 38-minute mark.
