UFC 249 has officially found a new home.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the pay-per-view will now take place at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The news of UFC 249 taking place in Florida isn’t much of a surprise since Gov. Ron DeSantis made employees at a professional sports and media production with a national audience an essential business.

UFC officials have yet to confirm the location for the event, but MMA Junkie backs up Dave Meltzer’s report as a person with ties to UFC 249 will be purchasing a ticket to Jacksonville for fight week. The pay-per-view is stacked with huge match-ups, with Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje for the UFC Interim Lightweight Championship headlining the show. The Bantamweight title fight between Henry Cejudo and Dominick Cruz will co-main event the pay-per-view.
