The UFC Women’s Bantamweight and Featherweight Champion looks to continue her dominance this Saturday.
For the past five years, Amanda Nunes has proved why she’s pound-for-pound the best female fighter in the world. The 32-year-old has beaten Miesha Tate (via submission at UFC 200), Ronda Rosuey (via TKO at UFC 207), Valentina Shevchenko (UFC 196 and UFC 215), Holly Holm (via TKO at UFC 239), and Cris Cyborg (via KO at UFC 232) throughout her time as the two-division champion. There’s no doubt that Amanda Nunes is entering with a wave of momentum on her side; however, the Brazilian shouldn't count her challenger out just yet.
Though a loss to Cris Cyborg at UFC 240 stains her professional record, Spencer has dominated the featherweight division otherwise. A former Invicta FC Featherweight Champion, the Canadian native has gotten big wins over Helena Kolesnyk (via submission at Invicta FC 30), Pam Sorenson (via submission at Invicta FC 32), Megan Anderson (via submission at UFC Fight Night 152), and Zarah Fairn Dos Santos (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 169).
Both women are surely looking to prove that they’re the best this Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada, check out the training process for their featherweight title fight at UFC 250:
