A new bantamweight champion will be crowned at UFC 251.

In his first championship opportunity in the UFC, Petr Yan looks to cement his status as the new face of the 135-pound division by beating one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in MMA, Jose Aldo.

Yan has managed to drop top names such as John Dodson (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 145), Jimmie Rivera (via unanimous decision at UFC 238), and former WEC and KOTC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber (via KO at UFC 245); however, Aldo has won wars against the likes of Frankie Edgar (UFC 156 and UFC 200), Chad Mendes (via KO at UFC 142), and Kenny Florian (via unanimous decision at UFC 136).
