Who will walk out as the greatest heavyweight of all-time on Saturday, August 9?
For the final time, Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic will fight for the prestigious heavyweight belt, with the winner also being deemed the greatest heavyweight of all-time.
Labeled as the last fight of Daniel Cormier’s career, the 41-year-old has accomplished huge goals throughout his MMA run. The veteran has managed to win the heavyweight belt in Xtreme MMA, King of the Cage, Strikeforce, and UFC, along with the UFC Light Heavyweight title.
In addition to his electrifying fights, Cormier has beaten Anthony Johnson, Alexander Gustafsson, Anderson Silva, and Stipe Miocic, and has only suffered two loses in his 10-plus professional career.
On the other hand, Stipe Miocic is also an accomplished heavyweight who has taken down Fabrício Werdum, Alistair Overeem, Francis Ngannou, Junior dos Santos, and Daniel Cormier. The two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion has only suffered three professional losses and has successfully defended the 235-pound belt three times.
Both fights between Cormier and Miocic were explosive title bouts and this final fight should be no different. The question is, who will get the final win and leave UFC 252 as the UFC Heavyweight Champion? Check out the training regime for both men heading into their bout this Saturday:
