It doesn’t seem like fans will be getting a Cyborg/Nunes rematch anytime soon.

The UFC President wasn’t too keen on the idea due to how decisive the win was for Nunes and the two-division champion has officially shut down the possibly that she’ll get back into the octagon against Cyborg.

Cyborg’s 13-year unbeaten streak swiftly ended in 51 seconds via knockout and Amanda Nunes became the third fighter - Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier are the other two - to hold two belts at the same time.

Cyborg has been looking for a rematch ever since, but Nunes made it clear that she has no intention on fighting down at 145 again:

Cyborg is in an interesting situation with UFC as she has one fight left on her contract. Cyborg responded to Nunes stating that she has no problem fighting Kayla Harrison, which could indicate that Cyborg may not resign with UFC once her last fight is done.
