Reigning in with 24 wins and 9 loses is the UFC bantamweight veteran Rani Yahya, who was set to take on The New York bantamweight Aljamain Steling. However, the veteran fighter must now withdraw due to an injury that is undisclosed at the moment.

There's no word on how serve the injury is and how long it will take for Yahya to heal. This is a shame, as Yahya was coming off an impressive victory against Henry Briones via submission back in August.

The promotion is actively seeking a new opponent for Steling on December 9th. The 14-2 is 2-2 since resigning with the UFC after a high profile free agency period. His most recent fight was a unanimous decision victory over Renan Barao at UFC 214. All four fights in his most recent span have gone to decisions. The Dec. 9 card, the UFC’s first at Fresno’s SaveMart Center, will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega.
