The first fight night show in June was a ratings success.

Last weekend, UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo was the number one show in the cable ratings, according to MMA Fighting. The main card, which saw Calvillo scoring an impressive victory over Jessica Eye, scored an average of 908,000 viewers and a .33 rating.

The rest of the event also saw Marvin Vettori beat Karl Roberson by submission, Charles Rosa get a split decision win over Kevin Aguilar, Andre Fili defeat Charles Jourdain, Jordan Espinosa beat Mark De La Rosa and Mariya Agapova get a first-round submission over Hannah Cifers.

The four-fight preliminary bout managed to average 551,000 viewers. The line-up saw Merab Dvalishvili defeat Gustavo Lopez via unanimous decision, and Julia Avila get the win over Gina Mazany via TKO in the first round.

Despite the high numbers, the numbers failed to make the million viewership mark set by UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns (1.021 million viewers) and UFC Fight Night: Harris vs. Overeem (1.198 million viewers). The UFC will make their return to cable this weekend with Curtis Blaydes vs. Alexander Volkov as the main event.
