The latest fight night show garnered a solid viewership on Saturday.

At UFC Vegas 8, Frankie Edgar and Pedro Munhoz capped off the evening with a thrilling five-round fight that saw the former UFC Lightweight Champion get the win in a very close bout. The overall main card for the show drew 869,000 viewers, according to MMA Fighting.

The other bouts on the main card saw Mike Rodriguez drop Marcin Prachnio via KO, Joe Solecki defeat Austin Hubbard via submission, Shana Dobson beat Mariya Agapova by TKO, and Daniel Rodriguez also get a TKO win over Dwight Grant.

The start of the main card was preempted by an NBA Playoff game, so the main card began on ESPN+, which is where the whole four fight preliminary card also streamed. This number fails to match the top watched fight night shows in the pandemic era as UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker drew the highest with 1.70 million viewers and UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns comes close with 1.021 viewers.

The next event will be this weekend’s UFC Vegas 8 show, which will be headlined with Anthony Smith vs. Aleksander Rakic.
