Mounir Lazzez will make his return to the octagon very shortly as the welterweight is set to face David Zawada.

Lazzez’s UFC debut win over Abdul Razak Alhassan at UFC on ESPN 13 extended the welterweight’s three-fight winning streak, with the newcomer also owning victories over Sasha Palatnikov (via TKO at ADW - UAE Warriors 8) and Arber Murati (via TKO at Probellum MMA). His professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 1 loss.

Zawada snapped a two-fight losing streak thanks to his submission win over Abubakar Nurmagomedov at UFC Fight Night 163. The welterweight still has a solid record overall, with Zawada picking up strong victories in Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki before his first UFC fight.
