Both Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz will go down as two of the greatest Light Heavyweights to step inside an octagon. Both men were a main staple within the 185-pound division and managed to fight three times in their illustrious careers.

“The Iceman” defeated top tier fighters such as Renato Sobral, Vitor Belfort (Former UFC Light Heavyweight), and Kevin Randleman (Former UFC Heavyweight Champion) before his first meeting against Ortiz at UFC 47.

Coming in, Liddell was looking to bounce back from his loss to Quinton Jackson, who defeated the Hall of Famer in the semi-finals of the PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix. Ortiz was also in need of a victory after suffering a devastating loss to Randy Couture, which effectively ended his reign as the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.

Prior to losing the belt, the California native was dropping big names throughout the highly competitive division, beating Wanderlei Silva to capture the belt, and then defeating Evan Tanner, Ken Shamrock, and Vladimir Matyushenko before his eventual downfall.

The two light heavyweights would go into their first encounter with a ton of hype behind them; however, the real question is, who walked out victorious? Relive the classic Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz fight below:
