If you didn't know the name Aleksandar Rakić, you probably do now. The rising light heavyweight contender landed a kick heard around the world at UFC Stockholm on Saturday, knocking out opponent Jimi Manuwa in devastating fashion.

Just 47 seconds into the first round of the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 153, Aleksandar Rakić knocked out Jimi Manuwa with a powerful left kick to the head. Manuwa was out immediately upon connection but suffered an equally brutal landing in which his head snapped against the mat. It would take Manuwa several minutes to recover, but thankfully, he did.

Perhaps not realizing the severity of the kick, Aleksandar Rakić was visibily excited after the knock out and the crowd let him have it for showboating. He apologized for his antics, but still exuded confidence. “Remember my name,” Rakić announced to UFC commentator Dan Hardy in his post-fight interview. “I'm the new dog in the park.”

With the win, Rakić is now 12-1 professionally and 4-0 in the UFC. His only loss came in his first professional fight back in 2011.
