A back-and-forth, fast-paced featherweight bout featuring Enrique Barzola and Bobby Moffett opened the main card for UFC Uruguay, and what a tone it set. It didn't end in a knockout, but there was plenty of competitive action throughout the three rounds.
In the end, it was Enrique Barzola who came out with the split decision win (29-28, 30-27, 28-29). Although Moffett seemingly outlanded Barzola in the first, Barzola did get a good late-round takedown. Barzola came out as the more aggressive striker in round two and scored another takedown in the round as well, putting the pressure on Moffett in the third. The final round was just as action-packed as the previous two and, once again, Barzola landed a late round takedown.
This fight probably could've gone either way — as evidenced by the split decision — but Barzola's takedowns could've been the difference makers in what was a very close and exciting fight.
