Amanda Lemos is suspended for two years for testing positive for the steroid stanozolol and its metabolite, stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected Nov. 8, 2017, the UFC’s anti-doping partner announced Wednesday. She will not be eligible to fight in the octagon until November 2019.
Lemos (6-1-1) made her UFC debut at last July in Glasgow. She lost via knockout in the second round.
Lemos is one of four fighters to test positive for stanozolol since USADA began leading the UFC’s anti-doping program in 2015. Carlos Felipe, Viscardi Andrade and Guido Cannetti were the others.
