A bantamweight bout has been made official for UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho, as John Dodson will take on Nathaniel Wood.

Dodson is looking to get his first win since March 3, 2018, as the bantamweight has lost his last two fights against Jimmie Rivera and Petr Yan. Since returning to bantamweight, Dodson’s been a mixed bag, with him only having three wins out of seven fights. Dodson's professional record stands at 20 wins and 11 losses.

Wood is on a hot streak at the moment, as the bantamweight enters the contest on a eight-fight winning streak. The former Cage Warriors fighter last defeated José Alberto Quiñónez via submission at UFC Fight Night London in March. Wood's professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 3 losses.

UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho takes place on Saturday, February 15 from the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with Jan Blachowicz and Corey Anderson headlining.
