Diego Sanchez is set to make his return to the octagon at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho, as the welterweight will take on Michel Pereira at the event.

The Ultimate Fighter 1 middleweight winner is looking to bounce back from his decision loss to Michael Chiesa back in July. Despite the setback, Sanchez was riding a solid two-fight winning streak going into the bout, besting Mickey Gall and Craig White. The UFC veteran’s professional record currently stands at 29 wins and 12 losses.

Pereira is hoping to get a second victory under the UFC banner, as the welterweight is coming off a loss against Tristan Connelly back in September. Pereira's lone victory comes over Danny Roberts at UFC Fight Night Rochester. The Brazil native’s professional record currently stands at 23 wins, 10 losses, and 2 no contests.

UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho takes place on Saturday, February 15 from the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz headlining.
