Urijah Faber will be fighting for the second time in 2019.
Back in July at UFC Fight Night Sacramento, the former WEC Featherweight Champion made his return to the octagon and got an impressive win over Ricky Simon by first round TKO. At UFC 245, Faber will test his skills against Petr Yan.
Yan is coming into the fight with a huge winning streak, as the 26-year-old has won eight fights straight, with his last win coming over Jimmie Rivera. Yan has only suffered one loss in his professional career, which was against Magomed Magomedov at ACB 32 in March of 2016. Yan's professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 1 loss.
Faber enters the bout on a two-fight winning streak, with the UFC Hall of Famer’s previous win against Brad Pickett on December 2016. Despite his various achievements throughout the sport, the California native has yet to win the UFC Bantamweight championship, which is something he's hoping to get on his recent run. Faber’s mixed martial arts record is 35 wins and 10 losses.
UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, December 14 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington headlining.
