Darren Till is set to return to the octagon against Jorge Masvidal in the welterweight main event of UFC London at The O2 Arena on March 16. The bout seemed to be a setup from the interaction by the competitors on social media:
Till is coming off a loss against Tyron Woodley for the welterweight title, but prior to the loss against the 170-pound champ, Till was unbeaten in six UFC appearances with wins over veteran Donald Cerrone and two-time title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. Till’s professional record is 17 wins, 1 loss, 1 no contest.
Masvidal’s most recent outing was back in November 2017, which was a unanimous decision loss against Thompson at UFC 217. The welterweight has lost his last two fights and is 9-6 in the UFC competing in the welterweight and lightweight divisions. His professional record is 32 wins and 13 losses.
UFC London will be broadcast live on the ESPN+ streaming service. The welterweight co-main event features Leon Edwards vs. Gunnar Nelson.
