A new welterweight bout has been confirmed for UFC Fight Night Columbus, as Ultimate Fighter semi-finalist Matt Brown will take on Miguel Baeza.
After a two-year hiatus, the Ultimate Fighter contestant made his return to the octagon at UFC 245 and got an impressive knockout win over Ben Saunders. Brown is currently on a two-fight winning streak, with his prior win being against Diego Sanchez at UFC Nolfolk in 2017. The welterweight’s professional record stands at 22 wins and 16 losses.
Baeza enters the fight with an undefeated streak, as the Dana White Contender Series alumni is coming off a brutal second round knockout over Hector Aldana at UFC Fight Night Tampa. Prior to his UFC debut, the Florida native has fought for Titan FC and Xtreme Fighting Nation. Baeza’s professional record currently stands at 8 wins and no losses.
UFC Fight Night Columbus takes place on Saturday, March 28 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio with Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlining.
