A welterweight bout has been set for UFC 248, as Neil Magny will make his return to fight Li Jingliang.
Magny is looking to bounce back from his loss against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires. The welterweight has been a mixed bag in his last five outings, with Magny scoring three impressive wins over Craig White, Carlos Condit, and Johny Hendricks. The Brooklyn native’s professional record stands at 21 wins and 7 losses.
Jingliang enters the fight with some momentum, as the welterweight is currently on a three-fight winning streak, besting the trio of Daichi Abe, David Zawada and Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos. The China native hasn’t lost a fight since late 2018, which was against Jake Matthews at UFC 221 via unanimous decision. Jingliang’s professional record stands at 17 wins and 5 losses.
UFC 248 takes place on Saturday, March 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time.
